Bobble Babble: On August 18th, 2006, the Padres hosted a stadium giveaway that included a three-pack of mini-bobbleheads (3.5”) featuring two active and one legacy player. The athletes were Khalil Greene, Jake Peavy, and Bruce Bochy. The trio came in an unmarked white box. Inside was a small was a small pedestal for each of the figures to stand on, and on the back of the pedestal was a magnet, presumably so you can mount your favorite Padre on the fridge or a filing cabinet in your cubicle. They also came with a card with a short bio of each player. The cards had a hole punched in the bottom so that you could mount them behind the pedestal and the magnet would not have to compete with the cardboard. These would be the last bobbleheads the Padres would offer their fans until 2010.
