Bobble Babble: Chase Headley had a long and notable career with the San Diego Padres, playing for the team in two separate stints (2007–2014 and 2018). He was one of the franchise’s key players during the late 2000s and early 2010s, known for his versatility, and consistency. Headley was drafted by the Padres in the 2nd round of the 2005 MLB Draft out of the University of Tennessee, and made his MLB debut in 2007 as a third baseman/outfielder. This bobblehead (as well as the rest of the 2010 series) comes with a cardboard backer card that features a photo of the athlete on the field and a printed signature. This set also took the Padres’ bobbleheads of the antiquated “parade rest” position that they had generally employed, and into more action-oriented poses.
