Bobble Babble: Before managing the Padres, Bud Black had a long career (1981–1995) as a left-handed pitcher, then coached and served in other capacities. He was hired by the Padres on November 8th, 2006, to take over the team beginning the 2007 season. His hiring marked the start of a relatively long run for the franchise — eight-plus seasons — where he compiled a managerial record of 649 wins and 713 losses. His best season came in 2010 when the Padres won 90 games and finished second in the National League West. For his efforts, Black was named the National League Manager of the Year. Like the 2010 series, this bobblehead comes with a cardboard backer, but this time with a field backdrop to complete the diorama.
