Bobble Babble: Mike Napoli was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in the 17th round of the 2000 MLB Amateur Draft. He made his Major League debut with the Angels on May 4th, 2006, against the Detroit Tigers. In that very first at-bat, he hit a home run (off Justin Verlander). Over his time with the Angels, Napoli played primarily as a catcher in his early seasons, then gradually shifted more toward first base and designated hitter roles as his career progressed with them. He was traded to the Blue Jays prior to the 2011 season, and subsequently traded again four days later to the Texas Ranges. Napoli would spend a couple years there, a couple of years with the Red Sox, and then a couple of years with the Indians before retiring in 2017.
