Bobble Babble: Ervin Santana signed with the Anaheim Angels on September 2nd, 2000, and made his Major League debut on May 17th, 2005. His birth name was Johan Ramon Santana, but in 2003 he changed it to Ervin Santana reportedly to avoid confusion with the much more famous left-hander Johan Santana. He pitched for the Angels from 2005 to 2013 and was one of their most reliable starters during this time period. He ended up pitching for the Royals in 2013, the Braves in 2014, and then spent the next three years with the Twins. In 2019 he played for the White Sox and then in 2021 he concluded his career with a season back with the Royals.
