Bobble Babble: Bobby Grich had one of the most quietly outstanding careers of his era — an elite second baseman who combined power, patience, and exceptional defense. Though he’s often overlooked nationally, he’s considered one of the best players in Angels’ history and a massively underrated figure in baseball history. Grich played for the California Angels from 1977 to 1986. He joined the team as a free agent after playing for the Baltimore Orioles and spent the final ten seasons of his career with the Angels, earning several All-Star selections and a Silver Slugger Award during that time.
