Bobble Babble: On May 4th, 2018, the Angels were up in Seattle playing the Mariners at Safeco Field.  It was the top of the fifth inning.  Mike Leake was pitching, and Albert Pujols was up to bat.  Leake delivers a fastball and Pujols drives it up the middle, allowing Justin Upton to advance to second base.  This was Pujols’ 3,000th career hit.  He tipped his helmet toward the Angels’ dugout as the Seattle crowd gave him a warm ovation, recognizing the historic achievement even as an opposing player.  With this hit, Pujols became only the 32nd player in MLB history to record 3,000 hits.
